[Self] Loophole in Yin Chuan

Wow, I did not expect to find a loophool in the Great Firewall of China here at Yin Chuan.

Anyway, most of the pics and chronology are in Facebook already so really won't say anything here.

Just a quick one though: Yin Chuan is not really a desert city as I hoped it would be. More of being at the fringe of the edge of the desert. The environment is however bitterly cold at night and damn dry. My lips, face and skin is starting to crack and peel only after 2.5 days. Damn how do the locals here manage it all their lives. A main reason why this place is considered "MILD" is because of the "He Lan Shan" range of mountains that shields them from the harshness felt in Inner Mongolia (which is on the other side of the mountain).

And imagine how much more worse it would be if it really were in the desert!

[Self] Blogspot Not In China

China apparently blocks off Blogspot. So there'll be no postings here at all at least until the trip is fully over.

But they seem to have no issue with Facebook, so I'll be dumping stuff there instead from time to time. If you don't have Facebook - join it is really cool even though I was hesitant initially I was won over quickly; if you do have Facebook - look for Keen Soon.
